Southern Adventist University is a conservative Christian liberal arts school. Fully accredited, SAU has about 2900 students, and offers over 60 majors, with master's degrees available in 8 areas including nursing, education, business, and religion. The school has a strong music department with fine keyboard, choral, band, and string programs, including an 80 member orchestra. Having just this year installed 30 new Steinway pianos in its studios, classrooms, practice rooms and auditorium, Southern's School of Music has just become the only all-Steinway school in the region, and the 100th all-Steinway school in the world.
